Oh Yeah ShanghaiExpats, oh yeah. The Wednesday Night Mixer continues to be the best place to meet new people and make new contacts on Wednesday nights in Shanghai. We've been doing it for 6+ years and we're not stopping. In fact we've secured a nice little spot at the back of a new joint in Shanghai on Hengshan Road, Sonik Fly! Every Wednesday night, beginning on May 16th, you'll find us hanging out at Sonik Fly, listening to live music, eating some of their tasty snacks, and mingling with good looking people.

What is the Wednesday Night Mixer?
It's an event that ShanghaiExpat started more than 6 years ago, and it has connected friends from all over the world. It's a social networking event with free entrance and discounted drinks, and it's attracted an average 50-70 people every week.

Where is it held now?
Beginning on May16th, we will hold the SHEX mixer at Sonik Fly, which has a terrace, an indoor bar and a backyard. The backyard of this venue has a relaxing waterfall and a small pool where you can dip your feet and enjoy the summer night. A live band (Indigo Band) will be with us all night, playing music genres ranging from Jazz to Pop.

What is the drink deal?
-30 RMB/drink. Drinks include: draft beer (Tiger), bottles of Heineken, House wine, Martinis, Bloody Marys, Mojitos, Margaritas, Long Island Iced Teas, Caipirinhas, and Cosmos. You can also get standard spirits, juices, sodas and bottles of water. Drink vouchers are available at our check-in desk.
