Travel Route Overview:
Day 1- Xi`an arrival

Day3- Mt. Hua shan hiking for a whole day

Members will arrive in Xi’an airport. A local tour guide will give you warm welcome at the airport. Then the tour guide will accompany you to the hotel after 40mins bus driving. No itinerary during this day except to relax and save energy for the following days.
Day2- Visit Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses in the morning; then go to Bell Tower Square and have lunch at Muslim Street; in the afternoon we will visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and enjoy dumpling feast and Chinese traditional dances at night.
The Terracotta Army (Chinese: 兵马俑; literally: "Soldier-and-horse funerary statues") is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife. It is one of the top attractions in China because of its historical significance and uniqueness. It is significant because the hundreds of detailed lifesize models represent the army that triumphed over all other Chinese armies and who were the decisive factor in forming a united China.
The Bell Tower of Xi'an (Chinese: 西安钟楼), built in 1384 during the early Ming Dynasty, is a symbol of the city of Xi'an and one of the grandest of its kind in China. The Bell Tower also contains several large bronze-cast bells from the Tang Dynasty. The tower base is square and it covers an area of 1,377 square meters. The tower is a brick and timber structure and close to 40 meters high.
Giant Wild Goose Pagoda or Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Chinese: 大雁塔), is a Buddhist pagoda located in southern Xi'an, Shaanxi province, China. It was built in 652 during the Tang dynasty and originally had five stories. The structure was rebuilt in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian, and its exterior brick facade was renovated during the Ming dynasty. One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang.
Day 3 - Go hiking in Mt. Hua for a whole day and rest in hotel at night.
About Mountain Hua Shan(华山) -The 1,997-meter-tall mountain, due to its reputation as the "most precipitous mountain under heaven", is a cluster of five peaks with breathtaking cliff faces and a tough challenge to mountaineers. Hua was historically the location of several influential Taoist monasteries, and was known as a centre for the practise of traditional Chinese martial arts. It is also one of the five holy mountains of China.
Day 4 - We will Visit Shaanxi History Museum and Xi’an Ancient City Wall. In the afternoon we will departure from Xi’an and return back to Shanghai.
Shaanxi History Museum, which is located to the northwest of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda in the ancient city Xi'an, in the Shaanxi province of China, is one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China and one of the largest. The museum houses over 370,000 items, including murals, paintings, pottery, coins, as well as bronze, gold, and silver objects.
